The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth.
Open 5 December. Free admission.
Like many other visitor attractions working through the winter months under Covid-19 restrictions, we have adjusted our opening hours to weekends and Devon school holidays only. These changes will help keep both you and our donkeys as safe as possible.
If you do choose to visit us you will still be able to have a lovely lunch in The Kitchen, grab a hot chocolate or take a stroll through our beautiful landscape.
Our restaurant will be open with a few changes to seating and menu.

From Saturday 5 December 2020 until March 2021, we will be open at weekends and during Devon school holidays only.
In order to safely manage visitor flow over the Christmas holidays, we will ask all visitors planning to visit between 19 December 2020 and 4 January 2021 (excluding Christmas Day), to pre-book their visit in advance.
The sanctuary is closed on Christmas Day, including all outdoor areas (excluding public footpaths) The Kitchen, Gift Shop and Visitor Centre.
We are a working farm and many of our walkways are grass, so please dress appropriately and bring suitable footwear for the weather.
Dogs are welcome at the sanctuary but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are also now welcome in the restaurant but they must be kept under your table and out of the walkway at all times.
Please dispose of any waste in the bins provided.
